I found the hotel to offer good value for money overall. The room we paid extra for, a superior room with a river view, turned out to be disappointing, being small, cold, and not what we expected. The hotel could benefit from some refurbishment as it felt a bit dated, although it was decent for the price paid. The hotel wasn't the most convenient for older guests in their sixties.
